This cutting edge eDiscovery presentation provides a basic introduction to Computer-Assisted Review (CAR) including emerging legal standards from recent court decisions. Topics covered in the presentation include an introduction to predictive coding and other forms of CAR, an overview of how to use CAR to manage eDiscovery workflow, reduce costs, and improve the quality of review results, and a discussion on how to conduct and evaluate CAR technologies and processes. The presentation, led by industry search and predictive coding expert Herbert L. Roitblat, Ph.D., Chief Scientist and CTO of OrcaTec, and New York Attorney Michael Pitch of TrustPoint International, was originally presented as a continuing legal education (CLE) event at the offices of TrustPoint International in New York City on September 24, 2013.
