Editor’s Note: The launch of HaystackID’s ReviewRight Mobile App marks a practical leap forward for remote legal and cybersecurity review. By allowing professionals to manage credentials, availability, and project opportunities directly from their phones, and giving clients instant access to qualified talent, the app closes the gap between demand and readiness. In high-pressure environments such as breach response, eDiscovery, and regulatory review, the ability to match the right person to the right task in minutes can define the pace — and the outcome — of the work.

HaystackID® ReviewRight® Mobile Brings On-the-Go Control to Legal and Cybersecurity Reviewers

On a humid Monday morning in August, a legal document reviewer checks her phone before finishing her coffee. A new project alert pops up — a time-sensitive document review for a regulatory matter. She updates her availability, confirms her credentials, and within minutes, her profile is visible to project managers who need someone ready to start that afternoon. She hasn’t even opened her laptop yet.

This is the reality HaystackID wants to make standard with the launch of its ReviewRight Mobile App, now available for iOS and Android. The secure, mobile-first tool is designed for two kinds of users: professionals who need to manage their careers on the go, and clients who need qualified talent in a hurry.

For reviewers, the app acts as a personal control center. They can update profiles, upload credentials, and adjust availability instantly — actions that once required sitting at a desktop and logging into the full ReviewRight platform. They can also browse live project opportunities in real time, ensuring they don’t miss work simply because they’re away from home or the office.

For clients, the effect is equally immediate. A project manager faced with an urgent breach response can see who is available, confirm qualifications, and move directly to staffing. That visibility helps avoid the lag time that can stall high-volume or high-velocity matters.

Matt Daimler, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Managed Review at HaystackID, says the mobile shift is about speed and coordination. “Reviewers can now manage their credentials, licenses, and availability directly from their mobile devices, while clients gain faster access to the right talent at the right time,” Daimler said. “This creates a smarter, faster, and more coordinated review experience for everyone involved.”

The mobile app extends the reach of the ReviewRight platform, which has already supported over 5,000 remote matters through a network of more than 34,000 professionals worldwide. It’s also arriving at a moment when remote-first review is not just common but expected, especially in eDiscovery, regulatory investigations, and cybersecurity incident response.

Ryan O’Leary, Research Director for Privacy and Legal Technology at IDC, views the move as timely. “Mobile tools that support availability management and dynamic project matching — like the ReviewRight Mobile App — are instrumental in bridging legal and IT workflows,” O’Leary said, noting that the demands of breach response and eDiscovery reward those who can connect people and projects without delay.

While the launch version focuses on core availability and project-matching features, HaystackID says the app will soon offer in-app job offer notifications, assignment tracking, and secure timekeeping. These additions are designed to give both reviewers and clients more control over the entire engagement cycle, from initial match to project closeout.

The app is available for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. HaystackID is encouraging professionals to update their profiles and set their availability through the mobile interface, a step that could mean the difference between being selected for a project or being overlooked.

For the reviewer who started her day with a coffee and a project alert, the shift to mobile isn’t just a convenience — it’s a competitive advantage. And for the clients who rely on ReviewRight to find the right expertise at the right time, it’s one more way to keep the work moving when deadlines are tight and stakes are high.
