Background Note: ComplexDiscovery regularly conducts non-scientific surveys to gain insight into the business of eDiscovery. These surveys include the quarterly eDiscovery Business Confidence Survey, focused on gaining insight into the current confidence of eDiscovery-ecosystem professionals regarding economic factors impacting the creation, delivery, and consumption of eDiscovery products and services. One of these surveys is the semi-annual eDiscovery Pricing Survey. Initiated in the winter of 2019 and conducted nine times with more than 700 individual responses, this survey provides a mechanism for cyber, data, and legal discovery professionals to share and consider current pricing for selected eDiscovery-centric collection, processing, and review tasks.

The eDiscovery Pricing Survey (Summer 2023)

Participation Request

The eDiscovery Pricing Survey is an informal survey intended to offer insights into general eDiscovery pricing trends, as shared by professionals within the eDiscovery ecosystem.

The pricing survey holds significance for cybersecurity, information governance, and legal discovery professionals because it sheds light on the baseline pricing expectations for specific eDiscovery services. This knowledge enables professionals to evaluate and compare pricing against value when making decisions in the eDiscovery landscape. The survey was created through a combination of research, reports, and conversations with industry experts, encompassing various pricing models, from volume-based to subscription-based. By presenting a glimpse of pricing expectations, the survey assists professionals in making well-informed decisions and ensuring they receive the best value for their eDiscovery requirements.

The anonymous survey welcomes participation from cybersecurity, information governance, and legal discovery professionals active in the eDiscovery ecosystem. Invitations are primarily extended via personal direct email.

ComplexDiscovery cordially invites you, as a cybersecurity, information governance, or legal discovery professional, to contribute your insights on eDiscovery pricing by participating in the Summer 2023 eDiscovery Pricing Survey.

The core survey includes 24** multiple-choice questions concentrated on pricing for collection, processing, and review, along with one optional question for respondents’ comments and considerations. The survey can be completed in under five minutes.
