Nextpoint Law Group Launches Legal Services Practice

Nextpoint launches Arizona-based Nextpoint Law Group, an ABS law firm specializing in data-driven legal services with a keen understanding of how law, data and technology intersect.

Nextpoint understands the value of pairing advanced software solutions with top-tier legal services. It’s what we’ve learned over the past 20 years as a leading provider of cloud-based legal technology. Today, we’re excited to announce Nextpoint is expanding its service offerings with Nextpoint Law Group, an Arizona ABS law firm offering data-driven solutions for litigation.

“Professional Services have been core to Nextpoint’s business from the beginning and have been critical to the development of our award-winning eLaw software,” said Rakesh Madhava, founder and CEO of Nextpoint. “Nextpoint Law Group is building on this foundation to provide tech-enabled legal services to law firms and corporate legal departments of all sizes. It also allows us to extend our support beyond technology services and assist firms with legal advice as they navigate rapidly changing regulatory frameworks surrounding data privacy.”

Data plays a central role in today’s digital litigation landscape, heightening the need for specialized skills to manage increasingly complex technical processes and challenges. Nextpoint Law Group partners with firms to provide these specialized skills, ensuring all legal teams have access to the benefits of advanced technologies and data manipulation.

“We’ve seen growing demand for comprehensive support in managing the technical side of litigation,” Madhava said. “Many attorneys don’t have the bandwidth or desire to become technical experts on top of their existing caseloads. That’s where they can turn to Nextpoint Law Group – a team of trusted attorneys and legal professionals who have a deep understanding of the intersection of law, data, and technology.”

“Nextpoint Law Group gives our legal department and law firm customers an elastic, on-demand option to support their efforts,” said Andrew Greene, Managing Partner of Nextpoint Law Group. “We have the ability to quickly digest and analyze large amounts of data, apply legal analysis from experienced litigators who have tried complex cases, and provide guidance throughout the litigation lifecycle.”

Nextpoint Law Group acts as an extension of existing legal teams, providing support across the litigation spectrum. “Our technology plus service solution brings a vertically integrated approach, from data-driven early case assessment to eDiscovery management to trial strategy,” Greene said.

Greene, an attorney with nearly 30 years of experience in commercial litigation and other fields, leads Nextpoint Law Group as Managing Partner. The team of experienced legal professionals also includes Brett Burney, eDiscovery consultant and thought leader, and Sonali Hanson, a legal data specialist.

“Nextpoint Law Group offers top-tier support with experienced trial lawyers, legal researchers and writers, nationally known eDiscovery consultants and expert witnesses,” Greene said. “It’s the ultimate behind-the-scenes support engine that enables lawyers to expand their practice and operate at their highest level.”

Sonali Hanson has managed Nextpoint’s professional services department for over five years, giving her extensive experience supporting firms through eDiscovery issues and litigation challenges. “I’ve led Nextpoint’s professional services team through complex eDiscovery projects, from data collection to evidence production to trial practice,” Hanson said. “Nextpoint Law Group expands our capability to support clients at every stage of the litigation lifecycle. I’m excited to deliver Nextpoint’s proven data-driven, technology-powered solutions to a wider range of law firms and corporate clients.”

Nextpoint Law Group is currently hiring attorneys in Arizona to expand its team of experienced legal professionals. See the firm’s open positions here.
