Mission Accomplished? Considering the EDRM

Originally published in April 2009 (1), the short article, Mission Accomplished? Considering the EDRM, highlighted some of the challenges facing the EDRM in terms of organizational investments and the accountability of those investments. Ten years later the EDRM has new ownership and leadership, and the general focus of the organization continues to be on the creation of practical resources to improve eDiscovery and information governance. However, given the ongoing opportunity for concrete contribution to the creation of certifications, standards, and acceptance of new technologies and approaches to eDiscovery, this original article may be instructive regarding the challenge of organizational focus and resource accountability.(2) The complete article is provided below for your consideration.
