Array, a leading litigation support firm, has acquired Acorn Legal Solutions to expand its eDiscovery capabilities and cement its position as an industry leader for law firms.

The acquisition was announced in a press release on Thursday. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Based in Chicago, Acorn provides fully managed eDiscovery services to mid-size and regional law firms and corporate legal departments. The company offers tailored engagement models to fit clients’ budgets and needs.

Acorn brings expertise in leveraging analytics to optimize eDiscovery workflows. Its team averages over 13 years of industry experience.

According to Array CEO Thadd Hale, Acorn’s strong reputation and seasoned professionals made it an ideal takeover target. He said Array’s eDiscovery offerings will be strengthened, and Array looks forward to serving Acorn’s existing customer base.
