A logo is much more than just a graphical design or symbol. It is the visual representation of a brand and serves as a way for customers to identify a company quickly. A logo is often the first thing a customer sees when they come into contact with a brand, whether through a website, social media, or physical marketing materials. This impact on first impressions is why a logo must effectively convey a brand’s focus and value.

ComplexDiscovery is excited to share our new logo, which we believe captures the focus and value of our brand. This logo will begin being phased in immediately. It will ultimately replace the highly recognizable magnifying glass used as the identifying logo since the inception of ComplexDiscovery as an information-sharing endeavor in 2010 and as an Estonian-registered company since 2020.

The new logo icon has three distinct sections highlighting the brand’s focus on the cybersecurity, information governance, and legal discovery industries. These features are wrapped together in an interconnected hexagon and represented by a circuit board for cybersecurity, a depiction of connectivity for information governance, and modern city buildings for legal discovery. Additionally, the teardrop shape at the center of the hexagon represents the tears of satisfaction and success when cybersecurity, information governance, and legal discovery protocols and practices are appropriately applied in security, compliance, and discovery tasks. The teardrop shape also represents the tears of fear and folly when appropriate protocols and practices are not followed.
