Software Innovations Group LLC trades as ProofSnap and is based in the United Arab Emirates. The founder, Radim Motycka, is the authorised representative and lead engineer.

The company does one thing: it preserves web pages and chat conversations as documented evidence, either through software the client runs themselves or as a service the company performs on the client’s behalf. The organising principle is verification without the vendor. Every evidence package can be checked offline, by anyone, using open source tools published under the MIT licence. There is no vendor affidavit in the verification path and no account is required to check a package.

Offerings:
ProofSnap provides both software and a done-for-you evidence service. A client can run the software themselves, or send the material and have the company produce the sealed evidence package for them. Both routes use the same forensic engine and produce the same package structure.

  • ProofSnap is a browser extension for Chrome and Edge. An investigator, solicitor or paralegal opens the page they need to keep, clicks once, and receives a sealed evidence package. In plain terms, it does what a screenshot cannot: it records not only what the page looked like, but also evidence of when it was captured and what the server actually sent, in a form that somebody else can check later. Because it runs inside the browser the operator is already using, it also works on pages that require a login, such as a private message thread, which server-side archiving tools cannot reach.
  • ProofSnap File Certification is part of the same extension. It takes files the customer already holds, for example an exported chat log or a set of photographs, and seals them into the same kind of package, so material collected by other means can carry the same audit trail.
  • ProofSnap Evidence Capture Service is the done-for-you side of the business, for clients who do not want to install anything or learn the software. The client sends a URL, or an exported chat conversation, and receives the sealed evidence package back, normally within twenty-four hours. The service covers single pages, bundles of several pages, video and audio recording for pages that move, multi-tab browsing sessions where the trail of navigation matters rather than one page, and forensic transcripts of messaging conversations such as WhatsApp prepared for filing. No account and no subscription is involved.
  • ProofSnap Verifier is a free public web tool. Opposing parties, courts and instructed experts use it to check a package without buying anything and without registering.
  • ProofSnap API is a programmatic version of the capture service, for organisations that need to seal pages in volume from their own systems rather than by hand.

  • What it does. ProofSnap captures a live web page and seals it as a documented evidence package. A capture normally completes in under a minute. The package contains the full page image, the page HTML, the readable text, and forensic metadata: the URL, the TLS certificate, DNS records resolved through two independent resolvers and cross-checked against each other, WHOIS or RDAP registration data, and the HTTP response headers the server actually returned.
  • How it is sealed. Every file in the package is hashed with SHA-256. Those hashes form a manifest, and the manifest is signed with an RSA key generated for that capture. A tamper-evident forensic log records each step of the capture in a hash chain, so a later change to any step is detectable. A chain of custody record follows the structure of ISO/IEC 27037. Depending on the plan, a package contains 11 to 15 files.
  • How time is evidenced. Up to three independent anchors, depending on the plan. The clock is checked against NTP servers at the moment of capture. The manifest hash is anchored into the Bitcoin blockchain through OpenTimestamps. An EU qualified electronic timestamp under RFC 3161 is issued by Disig a.s., a Qualified Trust Service Provider on the EU Trusted List, and is stored together with the validation material needed to check it offline years later.
  • How anybody can check it. A package can be verified in four ways: in the free web verifier, inside the extension, with an open source command line tool published under the MIT licence, or with the verification scripts that ship inside every package for Windows, macOS and Linux. None of these require an account or any involvement from the vendor. If the company ceased trading, existing packages would remain checkable.
  • Optional forensic network mode. For customers who need the underlying traffic rather than the rendered page, an opt-in mode records the page load as a WARC archive, which is the standard format used by web archives, together with an HTTP Archive (HAR) file, every subresource saved to disk with its own hash, and the full TLS certificate chain. This mode reloads the page under observation and causes the browser to display a debugging banner. That trade-off is disclosed inside the chain of custody record rather than hidden.
  • United States filings. Packages include a Federal Rules of Evidence 902(13) and 902(14) declaration template with the technical facts already completed and the declarant block deliberately left blank, because that declaration must be subscribed by a person under 28 U.S.C. 1746. ProofSnap does not assert that a capture is admissible. Admissibility is a matter for the court. The package is intended to be the documentation that supports it.
  • Languages. The interface and the generated evidence report are available in 29 languages, including right-to-left scripts.
